Administration
As a minister, I have experience with strategic planning, annual budgeting and budget drives, capital campaigns, staff supervision, development, and searches, lay leadership development, policy governance (modified), developing communications and social media, oversight of administration and programmatic life.
In addition to my work as a minister, I have volunteered in the leadership of networks, nonprofits, and justice ministries (both start ups and large longstanding nonprofits). These experiences have offered me spaces to further hone and learn about the nuances of administration, leadership, adaptation, and commitments to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and attracting resources to support mission.
Stewardship
A skill that I have continued to hone and develop over the years is that of fundraising for small and large projects. Here are a few highlights:
- Staff member on the Development Team, All Souls, NYC
- Coordinator of the Mind the Gap (Youth and Young Adult Ministry) portion of the UUA Capital Campaign
- 16 annual budget drives and raising 7.25 million dollars for capital projects at the Morristown UU Fellowship
- Volunteer on development teams at UU orgs over time: UU Women’s Federation, UU Church of Larger Fellowship, UU Faith Action NJ, Starr King School for the Ministry
